Faith Requires Whole Self

Faith is far more than a head trip with the mind! Faith is the giving of our whole self - head, heart and hands - to God. It is a conversion - an ongoing response of our whole person in faith and love to a God who loves us.
Conversion is often the result of moments of revelation - God's reaching out to us: finding a friend...a grandparent's death...a niece's birth.
Faith is a conversion that typically takes time. Time to chip away at the stone and defenses that block God's entrance. Time to find that God's healing love is pure gift. |
