Why is the nummber '666' associated with the devil? I know this is to do with references from the Book of Revelations; but could you explain this any further?
Your answer about the "beast's number" isn't complete/correct. You'd have to take things in the context of when it was written. What was happening when Revelations was written? The book of Revelations was highly symbolic and referred to things that pertained to people at that time, but not obvio...
