Lenten Sacrifices
I know it's a bit early to be thinking about Lent, but I was wondering if you have any suggestions for something I can abstain from on Fridays instead of meat. I'm a vegetarian, so I've always followed my regular diet on Fridays...but I think it's unfair that everyone else should have to give up...
Is eating what you gave up for Lent on Sundays okay in our faith, or is it considered cheating?
If you break your Lenten sacrifice or promise is that a mortal sin?
We have to give up something for Lent, but I don't know what to give up.
During Lent Fridays are days of abstinence... is there ever an exception for instance if the feast of a saint falls on that day? Such as the feast of St. Patrick?
