Dating is part of the process of choosing a husband/wife, therefore there is nothing wrong with having a boyfriend or a girlfriend. They key, of course, is treating each other in the manner that Jesus expects unmarried people to treat one another. That means abstaining from any kind of sexual activity. That does not mean that couples cannot show affection to one another. That wouldn't make any sense! Hugging and kissing are certainly acceptable in a dating relationship. |
