killing in self-defense

Q If someone kills another person in self defense, but they still wanted to kill that person, would it still be murder?
- T.O.

A

Taking another person's life is always a serious matter and not to be taken lightly.  Everyone who understands and respects the sanctity of life would not want to kill anyone and would only use lethal violence as a last resort.

If someone knows that taking a life is serious and still freely wants to do that, his or her motives would be questionable.  The person's intentions and free will would be the critical factors.
