Q I was wondering...If you aren't sure you would like to have children when you grow up (but you are not pro-choice) is that a sign that you might not be called to married life?

Lori:

That could be a possible sign that one is not called to the married life.  However, I would not really rely on that as a sign until I was in my 20s (at least).  It is not unusual for teenagers to think that they don't want children.  Or to change their mind from week to week on that subject.  The simple truth is that no one is ready to make those kind of life long decisions in their teenage years.  I would advise praying, asking God to guide you and to keep you open to His plans for your life.  At the right time, He will reveal those plans to you.  For now, just enjoy the wonderful gift of your teen years!
