[ARTICLE_IMAGE]Each summer, young people from St. Teresa Parish in Belleville, IL join forces with Neighbors for Renewal, an ecumenical not-for-profit, to bring homes and hope to working families in the Belleville area. Each year, Neighbors for Renewal seeks out and purchases a home in the Belleville area that is in severe disrepair.

Then through the work of volunteers, like the young people from St. Teresa, the house is rehabilitated and made available at a significantly reduced price to working families who have applied and been accepted to the program. "Our young people love this opportunity," says Kyle Holtgrave, youth minister at St. Theresa.

"They know their service is making a difference. They can see the difference in their own community. It is something tangible, something real." One youth group member sums it all up: "It's the most fun I've ever had in the name of Jesus." Keep up the good work, St. Theresa Youth!
