The countdown ticker on the official World Youth Day website reads simply “World Youth Day is here” Pilgrims from all over the world, including an estimated 15,000 from the United States, are in Sydney. Every day this week hundreds of thousands of young people are in Australia celebrating and learning about our amazing Catholic faith.
During Days in the Dioceses, which officially began June 10 and continued until June 14, the youth of the world had opportunity to experience all things Australia - from sightseeing tours to local prayer and worship celebrations and more!
