Definition: Interchurch
Term generally used to express the relationship between Christian Churches (i.e., between Catholics, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Episcopalians, etc.). When used in the context of a marriage (interchurch marriage) it reflects each partner's commitment to remain true to his or her religious heritage while working to restore unity among Christian Churches.
