Definition: Communion of Saints

A type of spiritual National Guard! Holy men and women who have gone before us and continue to be with us. A network of friendships that connect us to the love of God. People who, through Baptism, are part of the Christian family that extends beyond time and space.

You can call in the saints—both those recognized by the Church and those known only to you—to provide good advice or to provide an example for you to follow. They might also provide some clues to understanding the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
