Definition: Lord's Prayer
Also called the "Our Father," this is the prayer Jesus taught his apostles to pray. You can find it in the Bible. The Gospel of Luke (11:2-4) contains a short version and the Gospel of Matthew (6:9-13) contains the version that is most like the prayer you hear in use today. See also Mark 11:1-4.
The Lord's Prayer is an identity marker because it is the one prayer that all Christians—regardless of denominational affiliations—have in common!

is
real?
