What is Disciples Now?
Disciples Now is an evangelization and catechesis website for Catholic teens. The site is owned by Disciples Now Ministries, Inc. and operated by Odyssey Networks
Is Disciples Now really Catholic?
Disciples Now is authentically Catholic. The Disciples Now articles and features are consistent with the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the General Directory for Catechesis, and Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry. Disciples Now has strong relationships with a number of Catholic dioceses, parishes, schools, national organizations, and accredited publishers.

Who can write for Disciples Now?
Disciples Now uses a team of professional and volunteer writers to generate Catholic, Christian, and current events content. The team includes adults and young people from a variety of backgrounds. Who can join Disciples Now?
Disciples Now is primarily for Catholic young people in grades 6 through 12, however anyone may join. Adult volunteers and staff of parishes, schools, dioceses, and organizations may form online groups for young people using the Disciples Now group features.

How much does it cost?
There is no fee to become a member of Disciples Now. You may join groups, build a profile, share content, and interact with others. Adults may form and moderate online groups free of charge as well.
 
Is Disciples Now safe?
Great care has been taken to provide a safe, online environment for our young members. There are a number of privacy features that have been implemented – more than most other social networking sites. Disciples Now strives to be compliant with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Members age 13 and younger require parental permission before establishing a membership profile.

Who is Trio?
Trio is the Disciples Now mascot and your guide to the Disciples Now website. He/she/it is the animated character with a red shirt, blue jeans, and a glowing gold cross. Each Disciples Now member is automatically added to Trio’s Disciples Now group. Check there for tips on using the Disciples Now community, fun Catholic factoids, and free stuff.

Who can form online groups?
Disciples Now allows members to join one or more groups. There are many groups that are parish- or school-specific, but there are also many groups organized around interests, hobbies, and discussion topics. Groups are created and moderated by validated adult members.

Who can help me with my membership or create a group?
The Disciples Now Support Team can answer your membership questions, help you establish a new membership, create/join online groups, or subscribe to premium services. Send your request by email to support@disciplesnow.com.

How can I promote Disciples Now to the teens in my parish or school?
Disciples Now provides free promotional resources to parishes and schools.

Can I link to the Disciples Now website?
Yes. You may link to the home page or any specific page on the Disciples Now website from your personal, parish, school, or diocesan website. You may also include links in emails and newsletters. You may not copy content from the Disciples Now website onto another website, into a print document/flyer, or into an email.
